  F-Secure Client Security automatically stops viruses, spyware and malicious code in real-time, whether they are spreading via e-mail, web or removable media, like USB-sticks. By scanning POP3, IMAP4, SMTP and HTTP traffic, the solution prevents viruses from being sent or received via e-mail or web. To make installation easier, F-Secure Client Security recognizes most potentially conflicting antivirus programs and automatically removes them during installation.
• Transparent and automatic updates
  The updateable scanning engine enables fast and carefree maintenance and offers quick and smooth responses against constantly evolving threats. Virus definition databases are transparently and automatically updated at least once a day. Neighbor casting feature allows database downloads also from other clients inside the LAN, thus minimizing bandwidth use. The fail-over feature ensures that F-Secure Client Security offers up-to-date protection against new viruses, even if the primary delivery server is unreachable.

  F-Secure DeepGuard is a unique Network Host-based Intrusion Prevention System (NHIPS) technology.
