Akyga AK-202-01BK is a product from the SFF (small form factor) category, which surprises with its functionality. This solution was created for comfortable and trouble-free work in various applications. This miniature case gives a wide range of usage possibilities tailored to individual needs. It can be used in educational, office and home environments while browsing the Internet or creating text documents. It can be used to build both a home multimedia center and a powerful Nettop computer.
The case is characterized not only by good quality of workmanship, but also astonishes with its extremely aesthetic appearance. It is distinguished by a non-standard approach to the arrangement of fixed components in the interior, which allowed to obtain small dimensions that will satisfy most users. Additionally, depending on preferences and needs, the case can be placed vertically or horizontally, which gives freedom of arrangement of space around the desk.
The case is adapted to accommodate a mini-ITX motherboard. Inside, there are two 3.5'' and 2.5'' bays, which will allow for mounting SSD and HDD. In addition, a 5.25'' bay has been added for mounting a DVD/CD drive, writer or memory card reader. At the same time, there is plenty of space for efficient cooling, which is solved by a silent 8 cm fan for optimal air circulation.
At the back of the case there is a large hole for the mainboard panel. In addition, there are two slots covered by plugs. A low-profile expansion card can be placed here.
The front of the case is equipped with a functional panel that has two universal USB 3.2 Gen 1 sockets (previously called USB 3.0) for fast data flow. They are useful for connecting a wireless mouse and keyboard, as well as external storage media or other peripheral devices. Two inputs for headphones and a microphone and an SD/MMC memory card reader are provided.
For security reasons, the design of the case has been extended with Kensington Lock. It effectively reduces the risk of computer theft. It is a feature that is willingly used in case of office and company computers.
