StorNext File System Allocation and Performance is one day long and is intended for StorNext administrators. This course gives students hands-on practice with key tasks while being guided by an instructor. The tasks include identifying allocation behaviors, configuring the allocation session reservation feature and detecting and resolving used space and free space fragmentation issues. Additional topics include the use of buffering to enhance performance, determining storage capabilities and interpreting performance trace logging.
